Today has been extremely packed and busy, but crazily positive! Beyond my wildest dreams! And boy are my dreams wild!!!

So many good things have happened, I can't write about each one in lots of depth because I still want you to read my blog. Here's a list of what's happened today:

1. Sorted GDPR and IT issues to run Lilly's PriDia2 online tool for optimising diabetes care, via two remote dial in techs. Geek overload.

2. Managed to get a plus one pharmacist to the STP PCN CD Engagement Event, hosted by the one and only Dr Helen Hibbs MBE!

3. Invited to speak on 15th July for LPC Monthly meeting, LMC also presenting. This is such a positive for community pharmacy in PCNs.

4. Managed to get a plus one pharmacist to the Social Prescribing Network event on the 18th July.

5. Invited to speak alongside Bruce Warner NHS England for the Primary Care Show in October.

6. Lovely private messages from friends in various different locations just to say hello.

7. Lovely messages about being missed at a GP network event in London, when I'm not even a GP and I've not even met these amazing GPs face-to-face before!

8. Organised a meeting with Lilly (industry) to see how we could further diabetes care.

9. Organised a meeting with CCG Pharmacist Lead to discuss PCN workforce model.

10. QOF clinic done. Improved asthma and COPD control through simple interventions.

11. Good PCN Meeting. Network Agreement Schedule 1 agreed. Workforce plan agreed.

12. Good collaboration with neighbouring PCN. Both PCNs keen to recruit additional pharmacists and social prescribers. Team happy for me to support process and next steps.

13. Afternoon same-day-appointment care clinic done. Patients left happy and informed.

14. Opportunity to teach and share experience of General Practice with another pharmacist.

15. Invited to be part of interview panel for pre-reg pharmacists.

16. We got HOT pizza for lunch! #Winning

Shared PCN vision. Literally.

Random messages of kindness from friends. Thoughtful messages to make me laugh and giggle. I have truly left the love today and a renewed energy to face the rest of the week. Thank you from the bottom of my heart x x x x
