Say what you see?

I got to bed at 01:00 after writing bits for the PCN. I didn't have time to sort the kids' lunches for holiday club last night, so I've got up at 05:00 to sort it out. I didn't have to wash my hair or do much with it. My eyes feel and look heavy. I've opened up more appointments today to help with urgent requests to be seen. Usually by 09:30 we receive about 80 calls for appointments. The reception team do a fantastic job of offering the most appropriate appointment. This sometimes this means not the same day appointment, not with a GP and perhaps with Community Pharmacy.
So much is happening at much higher level of PCNs and meetings have scheduled for the next weeks. I start to dread the workload when I come back and FOMO starts to set in. I've managed to secure a brief meeting with Dr Amar Puttana to introduce myself and scope possibilities for some joined up ventures with secondary and primary care for improving diabetes care in the area. My FIT board members suggested I should meet him considering we are in the same locality. Everyone I've met in the diabetes professional network speak really highly of Dr. Puttana. We've never before but we've exchanged gifs, selfies and banter tweets on Twitter. I'm not sure if that shows my level of intellect. I have to be honest I'm a bit nervous about meeting this award winning diabetologist. I'm always worried I come across as dense as a loaf of keto bread. The meeting went well (I think!). It started and ended with a hug. That's all gravy right?
We have loads of ideas and explore leverages to get projects pitched. It's all very exciting. There's some real good work and people working on diabetes care locally. We need to pull it all together to showcase to fellow peers and to the communities that we care for.
