Day 39: Officially so hot, ice cream & ice lollies STAT

I love the warm weather and today we are off to a local nature centre for pony rides. The aim is to get there early to avoid the mid-day sun. Of course we are running late due to refusal to wear appropriate clothing and shoes from both Mini K's. Oh the joys of parenting.

It turns out we still arrived earlier than our friends! Nothing ever goes how you want things to go when you're a parent, even worst for me when I'm home alone with both of them. Anyway we manage to get all the mini people on the pony rides and some ice creams. We live in a small town but a stone throw away from the countryside. It's nice to escape the house and soak up some sun rays but today is hot.

We then escape the nature centre to seek shade, a paddling pool and a cool house with endless supplies of freezer foods. Still failing at PCN and other work. I'm absolutely shattered.
