Another non-stop day of school holiday club drop-off, clinic, more clinic and even more clinic.
My head is fit to burst from all the thinking and endless IT issues, again. There are NO MEETINGS! Whoop! Whoop!
Announcement made from NHSE regarding new community pharmacy contract. I've only had a quick look in-between my last patients. I need to read this properly to understand what the message is. At the moment I'm unclear what the implications truly are. Obviously you can never know exactly in this landscape but you can form an opinion. I'm not there yet. Definitely one for those all involved working in and with community pharmacy.
Just as I'm about to call quits on today. Mrs Alonzo, Nurse Partner at Slieve tells me about a wonderful 'Thank you' card from Dr. Nikki Kanani for Dr Alonzo's 30 years anniversary. We're a teaching practice and we all sorts of students coming through and the card sits daintily on the window sill next to wall of the Thank Cards from recent students. It's only two words but a "Thank you" when said right and with sincerity, it means the whole world. If you've been reading every daily instalment of my blog, I hope I've conveyed General Practice is hard work, but when the fulfillment from the job outweighs the graft. It's an unique and privileged place to work. This is one of my WHYs - why I work so hard in General Practice. I just love my job. Simples.
